About회사 소개
It started with a dog named Somi. 솜이라는 개에서 시작했습니다.
Somi is a black poodle. She was rehomed at two, when the family she lived with could no longer keep her, and she is around five now. Living with her changed how we shop: turning every bag over to read the ingredient panel, the country of origin, the importer’s name printed in the smallest type on the back.
That habit turned into a question. Why does a good product take so long to reach Korea? Most of the time the answer has little to do with the product itself. It is classification, filings and labelling — the unglamorous stretch between a brand and a shelf.
Haemil is a Korean word for the clear sky that follows rain. It felt like the right word to place beside the name of a dog who found a home after being given up, so we made it the company name. haemillagogo imports and distributes pet products: food, treats, supplements, grooming and hygiene items, and accessories.
솜이는 검정 푸들입니다. 함께 살던 가족이 더는 키울 수 없게 되어 두 살 때 저희 집으로 왔고, 지금은 다섯 살쯤으로 봅니다. 솜이와 살면서 물건 사는 방식이 바뀌었습니다. 사료 한 봉지를 사도 뒷면부터 뒤집어 봅니다. 성분표, 원산지, 제일 작은 글씨로 적힌 수입원까지.
그러다 질문이 생겼습니다. 왜 좋은 제품은 한국에 늦게 들어올까. 대개는 제품 문제가 아니었습니다. 품목 분류, 신고, 한글 표시사항 — 브랜드와 매대 사이에 놓인, 눈에 잘 띄지 않는 구간이 문제였습니다.
해밀은 비가 갠 뒤의 맑은 하늘을 뜻하는 우리말입니다. 파양을 지나 집을 찾은 개의 이름 옆에 두기 좋은 말이라 생각해 회사 이름으로 삼았습니다. 해밀아고고는 반려동물 사료·간식·영양보조식품·미용 및 위생용품·액세서리를 수입하고 유통합니다.

In three years we would rather have a short list of brands properly settled in Korea — correctly classified, correctly labelled, selling steadily — than a long list of brands we once touched. 3년 뒤에 남기고 싶은 것은 스쳐 간 브랜드의 긴 목록이 아니라, 한국에 제대로 자리 잡은 몇 개의 브랜드입니다. 분류와 표시사항이 정확하고, 판매가 꾸준히 이어지는 상태로요.

Somi came to us at two years old. Her previous family said they could not keep her any longer, and that dog is five now.
Before her, I had no idea how little information this market gives you. Imported products are the worst of it. The origin is vague, the Korean label is an afterthought, and the same product carries three different descriptions on three different marketplaces. In the end the buyer gives up and trusts the reviews.
I started this company to clean up the part that comes before all of that. Take what a brand sends us, move it correctly into Korean regulation, finish the filings and the labelling, and find the shelf it belongs on. None of that is glamorous work, and when it is skipped, a good product gets misread by the market.
So there are two promises I can make. I will not present something unverified as verified. And you will hear how it is going from me — in the weeks it goes badly as well as the weeks it goes well.
솜이는 두 살에 저희 집에 왔습니다. 전에 살던 가족이 더는 못 키우겠다고 했고, 그렇게 온 개가 지금 다섯 살입니다.
개를 키우기 전에는 이 시장에 정보가 이렇게 없는 줄 몰랐습니다. 수입 제품은 특히 그렇습니다. 원산지 표기가 흐릿하고, 한글 표시사항은 나중에 대충 붙어 있고, 같은 제품이 판매처마다 다른 설명을 달고 있습니다. 결국 사는 사람은 후기에 기대게 됩니다.
저는 그 앞단을 정리하려고 회사를 만들었습니다. 브랜드가 보내준 자료를 한국 규정에 맞게 옮기고, 신고와 표시사항을 끝내고, 이 제품이 있어야 할 자리를 찾는 일입니다. 화려한 일은 아닙니다. 다만 이 구간이 빠지면 좋은 제품도 시장에서 오해를 받습니다.
그래서 약속드릴 수 있는 건 두 가지입니다. 확인되지 않은 것을 확인된 것처럼 말하지 않겠습니다. 그리고 진행 상황은 잘 되는 주도, 안 되는 주도 그대로 전해 드리겠습니다.

The route depends on what the product legally is — feed, treat, animal quasi-drug or general consumer good. Getting that classification wrong is the most common reason a launch stalls. This is the ground we cover before anything ships.경로는 그 제품이 법적으로 무엇인지에 따라 갈립니다. 사료인지, 간식인지, 동물용의약외품인지, 일반 공산품인지. 이 분류를 잘못 잡는 것이 출시가 멈추는 가장 흔한 이유입니다. 선적 전에 아래를 확인합니다.
01Feed & treats — Feed Control Act사료·간식 — 사료관리법
Pet food and treats are handled as feed in Korea. That means business registration as a feed importer, import filing per shipment and ingredient registration for the product.반려동물 사료와 간식은 국내에서 사료로 다뤄집니다. 사료 수입업 등록, 선적 건별 수입 신고, 제품별 성분등록이 따라옵니다.
02Animal-origin ingredients — quarantine동물성 원료 — 검역
Products containing meat, fish or dairy fall under animal quarantine, and the exporting country and facility both matter. We check eligibility before an order is placed, not after it lands.육류·어류·유제품이 들어간 제품은 동물검역 대상이며, 수출국과 생산 시설 조건이 함께 걸립니다. 물건이 도착한 뒤가 아니라 발주 전에 가능 여부를 확인합니다.
03Supplements & claims영양보조 제품·표현 범위
Supplementary products are described by what is on the label — the ingredients declared and their amounts. Wording that suggests prevention or treatment of disease is not used, on packaging or on a product page.영양보조 성격의 제품은 라벨에 표기된 사실, 즉 표시된 원료와 함량으로만 설명합니다. 질병의 예방이나 치료를 암시하는 표현은 패키지에도 상세페이지에도 쓰지 않습니다.
04Animal quasi-drugs동물용의약외품
Some hygiene and pest-control items are classified as animal quasi-drugs and require product approval rather than a feed filing. We separate these out at the classification step.일부 위생·구충 관련 제품은 동물용의약외품으로 분류되어 사료 신고가 아닌 품목허가 대상이 됩니다. 분류 단계에서 이 품목들을 먼저 갈라냅니다.
05General goods — safety standards공산품 — 안전기준
Grooming tools, goggles, leads and similar accessories are consumer goods. We check whether the item falls under Korea’s consumer product safety scheme and whether KC certification or a supplier declaration applies.미용 도구, 고글, 리드줄 같은 액세서리는 공산품입니다. 생활용품 안전관리 대상인지, KC 인증이나 공급자적합성확인 대상인지 확인합니다.

Korean advertising law restricts efficacy claims and unsubstantiated superlatives. Product copy stays with what can be evidenced from the brand’s documentation.표시·광고 관련 법령은 효능 표현과 근거 없는 최상급 표현을 제한합니다. 제품 문구는 브랜드 자료로 근거를 댈 수 있는 범위 안에서 씁니다.

Mail-order business reporting, seller information disclosure and return handling under Korea’s e-commerce law sit with us as the seller of record on each marketplace.통신판매업 신고, 판매자 정보 고지, 청약철회·반품 처리 등 전자상거래법상 의무는 각 마켓의 판매 주체인 저희가 부담합니다.
